PALAZZO FARNESE. From Renaissance collections to the French Embassy.
17/12/2010- 27/04/2011
Over 150 works which include paintings, statues, drawings, sculptures, tapestries and ceramics bring to life five centuries of the Palazzo’s fascinating history: from the sixteenth century splendour of the Farnese Family, to the modern times, up until the last 135 years when the building has served as the French embassy in Italy and the “Ecole française de Rome”.

A special selection of the Farnese collection has been returned to where it was first brought together by the passion of this powerful Renaissance dynasty for everything to do with art.
