The Two Empires. The Eagle and The Dragon

The exhibition, which arrives in Rome following a stop at the Palazzo Reale in Milan, for the first time brings together the two most important empires in history: Rome’s and the Qin and Han Chinese dynasties’, spanning from the Second Century B.C. to the Fourth A.D.
More than 450 Italian and Chinese masterpieces piece together the milestones of the emergence and expansion of both empires, highlighting various aspects of everyday life, society, worship and the economy.
The exhibition is part of “Chinese Cultural Year”, aimed at promoting awareness about Chinese culture in Italy and celebrating 40 years of diplomatic ties between Italy and China.
