Another date with this illustrious Festival, which this year celebrates its tenth year.

Taking part are 19 internationally renowned writers (DON DE LILLO, WILBUR SMITH, GAY TALESE, DAVID SEDARIS, DAVID BENIOFF, JO NESBØ, GARY SHTEYNGART, PAVEL SANAEV, CLARA SÁNCHEZ, XINRAN, ANTONIO SKARMETA) and Italian writers (SANDRO VERONESI, GIANRICO CAROFIGLIO, STEFANO BENNI, MARGARET MAZZANTINI, GIANCARLO DE CATALDO, CARLO LUCARELLI, MICHELA MURGIA,MICHELE MARI ).
During the course of the 10 evenings, against the evocative backdrop of the Basilica of Massenzio, the writers are being called on to share their thoughts and speak on the main theme of History/Tales. As always, they will give public readings of unpublished writings, basing each on their own personal outlook, exploring the connection between literature and history and analysing the possible links between literary and historical truths, between imagined and true stories.
