Tales and mysteries beneath the Celio are brought to light in an archaeological-cum-theatrical visit in the highly attractive setting of the “Domus Romane” (below the Basilica SS.Giovanni e Paolo) and the neighbouring archaeological complex of the “Claudianum” (adjoining the Basilica itself)
Visitors are taken through subterranean Rome by archaeologists and the voices of professional actors whose readings of Latin literature recreate the atmosphere of ancient Rome as it unfolds amid passageways, baths and perfectly preserved frescoes.

The visits take place also in the event of rain
