Giacomo Favretto. Venezia fascino e seduzione
24/04/2010- 11/07/2010
The first monographic exhibition devoted to Venice’s leading nineteenth painter, Giacomo Favretto (Venice 1849-1887).

The exhibition offers a comprehensive panorama of his art, presenting all his major works from when he made his debut on the artistic scene at the Venice Exhibition of 1887. On display alongside Favretto’s paintings are those of other major Venetian painters of the same era, including Ettore Tito, Alessandro Milesi, Guglielmo Ciiardi and Luigi Nono whose works are on show in a separate hall.
