Adopting experimental archaeological criteria, the exhibition’s approach is entertainingly educational: on display alongside the original relics are a whole range of detailed and finely-crafted weapons and accessories reproduced by highly-skilled specialist artisans.

The exhibition offers visitors a chance to get an insight into the gladiators’ art, their combat techniques, way of thinking and the nuances of social standing.
