Ostia Classic 2010

Ostia Classic is a festival of classical and traditional music held in the pedestrian precinct of Piazza Anco Marzio in the Rome seaside resort of Ostia.

The programme of thirty-two concerts ranges from classical to opera music, from jazz to traditional.

Besides the special tributes to Italian singer-songwriters Domenico Modugno, Nicola Arigliano and Argentine Composer and Musician Astor Piazzolla, a number of concerts are scheduled featuring the music of Bach, Schumann and others as well as twentieth-century Russian classics. Special attention is also being given to a number of up-and-coming talents.
