The Comune di Roma in collaboration with the Teatro dell’Opera is inaugurating the Christmas season with the first of five concerts “Toccata e Fuga”, have already enchanted thousands of tourists this summer.

December 22nd 2008 The Festival di Pasqua is one of the most prestigious concert festivals dedicated to sacred music in the world. Founded in 1998 by Italian producer Enrico Castiglione, its aim was to create in Rome, the centre of the catholic world, a festival dedicated to Christianity's extraordinary artistic treasure.

Roughly one hundred and sixty pieces including oil paintings, sculptures and artworks on paper are on diaply in this exhibition.

By 2011 the Palatine, Roman Forum, the Imperial Forum, the Colosseum and the Domus Aurea are going to become part of a single large site called “Casa dei Fori” as prompted by the Culture Under-secretary Francesco Giro’s project.

Our Country has won the "Best European Country" category, whilst the city of Rome has come 5th among European cities in the 2008 Readers Awards.
