The project was recently presented at Campidoglio among other venues and was based on the model of Rome housed at the Museum of Roman Civilization. The model depicts the Rome of Constantine in 320 AD and there are approximately 6,700 buildings and monuments visible in all their glorious detail.

As Rome’s vice mayor for tourism, Mauro Cutrufo declared the instrument potentially useful for increasing both the knowledge of and tourism in the city.
